Easy Chicken Cacciatore

23 cup                White wine
2 - 16 oz jars        Old Havana Chili Cubano
1½ teaspoons       Fresh rosemary, finely chopped
1 (3-4 lb.)            Chicken, cut into 8 pieces, skin removed
To taste              Salt and pepper
2 tablespoons       Flour (cornstarch or rice flour can be used to make gluten free)
2 large                Carrots, peeled and cut into 1⁄4-inch pieces
½ cup                 Kalamata olives, pitted and lightly smashed
¼ cup                 Capers, drained


  1. Add white wine, Old Havana Foods Chili Cubano and rosemary to slow cooker vessel, mix to combine.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper and sprinkle with flour (or cornstarch). Place chicken into slow cooker and top with some of the Chili Cubano-wine mixture.
  3. Add carrots, olives and caper on top of chicken. Cover and cook on high heat for 4 hours or until chicken is tender, spooning sauce over chicken every hour.
  4. Serve chicken with sauce over cooked rice, couscous, pasta or quinoa.

Serves 4 to 6.
