Cuban Sloppy Joes (Picadillo)

INGREDIENTS (Serves 4 to 6):
1 pound Ground meat (beef, pork or turkey)
1 (16 oz) jar Old Havana Foods® Chili Cubano
¼ cup Pitted green olives, chopped
¼ cup Seedless raisins
2 tablespoons Medium dry sherry
4 to 6 Toasted hamburger buns
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Brown meat until no longer pink, breaking up pieces with spoon.
2. Add Old Havana Foods® Chili Cubano, raisins, olives and sherry (if using); stir well to combine.
3. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Serve on toasted buns.

Serve over cooked white rice with fried eggs and sautéed ripe plantains (maduros) for a traditional Cuban school day lunch called niño pa’ la escuela (Little boy going to school.)
