Seafood Soup (Sopa de Mariscos)

INGREDIENTS (Serves 6):
2 cups reduced sodium chicken broth
3 packets Trader Joe’s Reduced Sodium Concentrated Vegetable Stock or 1½ vegetable bouillon cubes
1 (24 oz) jar Old Havana Foods® All-Purpose Sautéed Seasoning (Sofrito)
¼ teaspoon ground white pepper
16 ounces frozen seafood blend (calamari rings, bay scallops, shrimp) or your favorite seafood in small chunks
DIRECTIONS:
1. Combine chicken broth, vegetable stock packets (do not add water), Old Havana Foods® All-Purpose Sautéed Seasoning (Sofrito)
and white pepper in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a simmer.
2. Add seafood blend, return to a simmer. Reduce heat to medium and simmer 4 to 5 minutes until seafood is cooked through. Do not overcook or seafood will toughen.
