Easy Shredded Turkey or Chicken

GREAT WAY TO USE UP LEFTOVER ROAST TURKEY!!!

INGREDIENTS:

2 to 3 cups       Leftover roast turkey or (1 Fully cooked rotisserie chicken)
16 ounces        Old Havana Foods Sofrito Authentic Cuban Cooking Sauce
To taste           Salt and Pepper

To assemble:
8 to 12             Flour/corn tortillas, or sandwich buns
8 ounces          Shredded cheese
                       Hot sauce (optional)
                       Black Bean & Corn Salsa (click for recipe)


DIRECTIONS:
1. Pull turkey or chicken meat off bones and break into bite-size pieces. Place in a medium bowl. Discard bones, cartilage and fatty skin.
2. Add Old Havana Foods Sofrito Authentic Cuban Cooking Sauce  and stir to coat. Heat in microwave or in non-stick skillet over medium heat until heated through, about 5 to 7 minutes or place in slow cooker on high setting for 1½ to 2 hours.
3. Serve over rice, on or in tortillas or on buns. Our Black Bean and Corn Salsa goes very well as a side dish

Serves 4 to 6.
